18th Annual Conference of the South Asian Health Foundation (SAHF)

Thursday, 12 October, 2017 - 09:00 to Friday, 13 October, 2017 - 13:15

We are delighted to be able to invite you to a 2-day meeting that has been tailored specifically to help healthcare professionals in the UK striving to deliver the best possible care for south Asian people with diabetes. Whether you are working in a primary, intermediate or secondary care setting, the conference will be relevant to your everyday practice. Delegates will benefit from an interactive mixed-format learning experience – covering a breadth of topics – via plenary lectures, clinical updates and interactive masterclasses, each aimed at providing practical guidance based on the best available evidence.

This year, our theme is about translating the latest research evidence into clinical practice.  Among the major topics that we will be covering are innovation within diabetes care, dietary advice, cardiovascular prevention and research updates, and we are also delighted to have Professor Kamlesh Khunti delivering the keynote lecture on the updates on diabetes in south Asian people. We have 2 days packed with must-attend sessions that are sure to help you in everyday clinical practice.

We very much hope to see you there.
