‘Hard to reach or not reaching hard enough?’ Webinar

We aim to explore what influences the hard to reach groups, to help inform best practice on engagement relating to Covid-19.

Ethnic minority groups in England have been disproportionately affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

  • COVID-19 vaccine uptake is lower among Black African, Black Caribbean, Bangladeshi and Pakistani groups.

  • There are multiple barriers associated with vaccine uptake, including demographic factors, access, and trust.

COVID-19 has seen an impressive response from the public sector, which has adapted quickly to continue providing essential services. However, in the haste to innovate and launch new solutions there is a risk that some people in our communities are left behind.
